Terms of Use
These terms govern access to the Tenardship website and its informational tools. A separate agreement with the legal provider of a financial account governs any transaction, custody or regulated service.
1. Use of the website and services
You may read the site, use its educational tools and submit accurate contact details to request information about the platform. Content here is general information, not a personal investment recommendation or an offer that guarantees access to a particular financial product.
Before opening or funding an account, obtain the name, terms and disclosures of the legal provider. A registration form on this website is an inquiry step; it does not itself establish that Tenardship is your broker, custodian or investment adviser.
2. Eligibility and limits
Use the site only where doing so is lawful for you. You are responsible for understanding any local restriction that applies to a financial service you may later choose. We may decline or refer an inquiry when the requested service is unavailable or cannot lawfully be provided.
Website access does not create an entitlement to an account, a strategy or a payment method. The legal provider may require age, residency, identity, suitability or other checks before a feature becomes available.
3. Promotional material and communications
If you submit your contact details, the team may respond about your inquiry and the account workflow. Marketing messages, if offered, should use a separate consent basis where required and provide a way to stop receiving them. An operational message about a security issue or active request may be sent for a different reason.
Do not assume that a market illustration, calculator result or promotional headline states a likely return. Read the accompanying qualifications and the provider's actual documents before making a financial decision.
4. Intellectual property
The site's text, visual design, logo and original illustrations are intended for use with this service. You may save a reasonable copy for personal reference, including a policy that applies to your inquiry. You may not present the site as your own, reproduce its branding to impersonate the service or remove notices from copied material.
Names and logos of exchanges or other third parties remain their owners' property. Their appearance as market examples does not state or imply sponsorship, endorsement or an account connection.
5. Privacy
The Privacy Policy explains the categories of personal information collected through an inquiry and the reasons for processing it. A separate financial provider may collect additional identity and transaction data under its own policy.
Do not submit information about another person without a lawful reason and their appropriate authorization. Avoid sending a password, recovery phrase or full payment-card number through the contact or registration form.
6. External links and providers
Links to a map, payment service, exchange or regulatory resource can lead to a site with different terms and privacy practices. Check the address and content of the destination yourself. A link is not a warranty that a third party is available, accurate or suitable for your circumstances.
If you connect an external account, its provider controls its own security settings, records and service limits. Review those terms before granting a permission, especially one that can execute a trade or move an asset.
7. Prohibited use
Do not use the site to break a law, misrepresent your identity, send spam, scrape personal data, interfere with another user's access or attack the infrastructure. Do not test security in a way that disrupts service or disclose another person's private information through a form.
Automated requests that overload the site, malicious code, fraudulent payment instructions and impersonation of support staff are prohibited. We may restrict access and preserve relevant records if we detect abuse, subject to applicable law.
8. Support and notices
Questions about these terms can be sent to [email protected]. Include the page or event you are asking about and a safe way to reach you. A formal complaint about a financial transaction should also be sent to the legal provider identified in the account agreement.
We may publish operational notices on the site or use the contact details you supplied for a specific inquiry. Keep those details current when a provider's terms require it.
9. Accuracy and absence of warranties
We aim to make information clear and current, but market data, examples and third-party conditions can change. A calculator is a simulation that applies selected assumptions; it is not a forecast. An illustrative fee or processing window may differ from a provider's binding quote.
The site is provided on an available basis without a promise of uninterrupted access or a particular result. Nothing here excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable Canadian law.
10. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Tenardship is not responsible for losses caused by market movement, a third-party provider, misuse of an account or reliance on a general illustration as individualized advice. This statement does not excuse our own obligations where the law imposes them.
If a problem concerns a transaction, identify the legal provider and preserve the order or payment reference. A website inquiry cannot by itself settle a claim against a separate custodian, broker or payment institution.
11. Indemnity and other provisions
Where the law permits, a user who unlawfully abuses the site or infringes another person's rights may be responsible for resulting claims and reasonable costs. This provision does not require a consumer to give up statutory rights or to cover losses caused by our own misconduct.
If part of these terms cannot be enforced, the remaining provisions continue to apply where lawful. A failure to enforce a provision once does not waive it for every future event. These terms should be read with any mandatory consumer protection that applies in the relevant Canadian jurisdiction.
Changes to these terms
We may update the site terms as features or legal requirements change. The revised version takes effect when published here. A visitor should review the current text before using the site again, while a separate account agreement remains governed by its own change process.
For a question about a material change or an earlier version that affected your inquiry, contact [email protected]. Keep a copy of any provider contract or order terms given to you when you act.
